#88 (AFI):
Beetlejuice

Year: 1988

Directed by: Tim Burton

Written by: Michael McDowell, Warren Skaaren, Larry Wilson

Starring: Michael Keaton, Wynona Rider, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Kathryn O'Hare, the principal from Ferris Bueller

Seanbaby: Beetlejuice wasn't really that bad, so we can only assume the AFI miscounted their votes and intended this spot to be filled by a Carrot Top movie. We might have had something funny to say about that. It's too bad Penn and Teller Get Killed didn't make the AFI's list, because I had a really funny joke ready for that movie. Right after the title I was going to say, "...I WISH!" Ha ha ha ha ha!

#88 (IFLS):
Bringing Up Baby

Year: 1938

Directed by: Howard Hawks

Written by: Dudley Nichols, Hagar Wilde

Starring:

Seanbaby: Normally, I'd have something mean to say about this movie since it's not that great and from a time where anything that didn't give your mule a disease was considered funny. But Bringing Up Baby was written by a guy named Hagar Wilde. And I'm not crazy enough to fuck with a guy named something that badass even if he is like 211 years old by now.
